H.M.S. Russell. Divided back postcard postmarked October 18, 1906. The only publisher information on the reverse is "Series No. 63 B. B. London."

H.M.S. Russell was a Duncan-class battleship launched in 1902. During the First World War, Russell was used to patrol the English Channel and later saw action in the Dardanelles Campaign. After the Dardanelles Campaign, she remained in the Mediterranean, where she was sunk by a mine on April 27, 1916.
